Tucked into the forested slopes of Sandy Hook on BC’s Sunshine Coast, this home is a quiet retreat designed for light, simplicity, and connection to the landscape. Captured through architectural photography on the Sunshine Coast, the design celebrates material honesty and spatial calm.

A low-profile form wrapped in dark corrugated metal opens up to expansive glass walls that dissolve the boundary between interior and forest canopy. Inside, warm wood-paneled ceilings and natural light define the experience—elevating a minimal material palette of concrete, walnut, and blackened steel.
