SUGARLOAF RESIDENCE

Location: Pemberton

Client: Balmoral Construction

Perched above the floor of the dramatic Pemberton Valley, Sugarloaf Residence is a masterclass in quiet modernism, where crisp lines, rich textures, and panoramic views converge. Built by Balmoral Construction and designed by Britt Lothrop, this custom home captures the spirit of mountain living through the lens of refined detail and thoughtful restraint. The result is a visually rich and emotionally calm retreat, framed through expertly executed architectural photography in Pemberton.

Expansive glazing connects the interiors to the alpine landscape, offering uninterrupted views that flood the space with light and create a seamless indoor-outdoor rhythm. A warm palette of white oak, minimalist millwork, honed stone, and matte black accents sets the tone for spaces that feel both elevated and understated.

From the sculptural stone island anchoring the kitchen to the spa-like bathroom and floor-to-ceiling windows lining the social spaces, each detail is intentional. This residence is a study in how modern architecture can feel natural, grounded, and alive within its environment.
