Perched high above the treetops at Silver Star Mountain Resort in BC’s Okanagan Valley, this striking modern retreat is more than a home—it’s an architectural response to place, precision, and purpose. Captured through thoughtfully composed architectural photography in Silver Star, every angle reveals a story of craftsmanship, contrast, and connection to the alpine environment.

Designed by Ian Paine Construction & Design, the project was styled by Restoration Hardware and BD Interior Design.. Built by Rich Built Homes, the residence balances drama and restraint with intention. Dark-stained timber, raw stone, and metal detailing ground the structure in its snowy context, while expansive windows invite the sweeping landscape into the core of the home.

Inside, rugged materials meet refined aesthetics. A monolithic stone kitchen wall becomes a sculptural centerpiece, while layered lighting and soft natural textures bring warmth to the home’s bold geometry. From the panoramic living room views to the cedar-wrapped lounge, every space is crafted to enhance atmosphere, light, and livability.
